The Davidsonville Area Civic Association, in partnership with local businesses and environmental organizations, will host the annual Green Expo to increase awareness about environmental issues and highlight environmentally friendly products, services and ideas. Join them from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 15 at Davidsonville Elementary School, 962 W. Central Ave., to discover your local watershed group, learn about energy saving techniques and hear about living more sustainably.
Featured events include children’s activities, free reusable shopping bag and tree give-aways, bay friendly lawn and landscape techniques, wildlife habitat shrubs and trees, rainbarrels (cash or check only), renewable energy (solar, geothermal and wind), recycling and energy efficiency and non-toxic home products. Secure document shredding also available.
Many items will be for sale, and there will be raffles, food and music, all with free admission. An affiliated poster contest will be judged as well.
