Anne Arundel County police have charged two men with arson after fires were set at two businesses in Davidsonville.
Officers were called to JAS Trucking about 6 a.m. Friday. An employee arriving for work found a fire had been started and a forklift had been used to damage a pickup truck and an exterior wall of the firm's building.
While police were investigating, and employee from Brandywine Sand & Gravel on the same street approached detectives and said that a fire had been set in that company's building and was still smoldering.
Police identified two suspects and arrested them Friday morning. Twenty-three-year-old Kevin Nash of Gambrills and 23-year-old Gregory Michelsen of Davidsonville are charged with arson, burglary and other offenses.
