Ispahine Johnson is already on the job as the new assistant principal at Davidsonville Elementary. She is busy learning the teacher’s names, meeting families, and preparing for the new school year that’s set to start in just two weeks.
Johnson is replacing former Assistant Principal Patricia Keffer who was promoted to principal at Jones Elementary School in Severna Park.
Johnson is no stranger to the Anne Arundel County Public School system. Johnson taught at Georgetown East Elementary in Annapolis for four years followed by one year at Pershing Hill Elementary in Fort Meade.
Most recently, Johnson served as an ALPs Resource Teacher (Advance Learner’s Program) for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. This is Johnson’s first stint as an assistant principal.
