SMLL Raising Funds To Improve Park

   The South Maryland Little League (SMLL) baseball organization has begun a fundraising drive to finance needed improvements for Davidsonville Park. 
    The organization has raised over $15,000 from individuals and area businesses, and the county has also agreed to add another $15,000 to that.
    They have plans to build a new well and irrigation system for the softball and baseball fields.  With enough money available to begin work,  a new well is scheduled to be drilled in September by Atwater Drilling of Davidsonville.
