Katie Perez--Volunteer Of The Month

  Katie Perez of Davidsonville is shown receiving her Volunteer of the Month award from Arundel Voice Editorial Assistant Zach Sparks in recognition of her  work and dedication to the Focus Foundation, a research based organization helping children with certain disorders.   For the last four years, Katie has been helping manage the foundation's annual conference.  She received her Girl Scout Gold Award for work in arranging the child care.
  She recently graduated from South River High in their STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) program and plans to attend Rutgers University this fall.  She plans to come back next summer to further assist the Focus Foundation during their summer conference.
