John & Barbara Church School in Nepal

John and Barbara Church of Davidsonville have been very involved in the building and operation of a 100 student elementary school in Nepal.   They  just completed their fourth annual oversight visit to the school, carting new teaching materials — including five iPad Minis. Even though Bauniyan, Nepal, residents lack heating and indoor plumbing and experience on again/off again electricity, they do have WiFi access to the Internet.
After a 31 year Air Force career,  John’s job now is to model how to run an organization. Barbara’s retired from the AA Co. school system and she is now involved with the new school in  curriculum development, mentoring teachers and teaching students.
