Farmer's Market Weather Woes

 
    The Farmer's Market had their season opening on April 5,  but the cool damp winter and early spring didn't cooperate.  The fruits and veggies being sold were limited because of late plantings. 
    Davidsonville farmer Martin Zehner, was a founding member of the Market, and he had a few comments that are in the article linked below.
    The octogenarian has farmed near Patuxent River Road since his father bought the land in 1936 and his opinions are often sought by local media.
