From the May 23, 1972 Capital:

By NORMAR CARPENTER

Twenty-four members of the f o r m e r B i r d s v i l le,  Davidsonville and the Governoi Bridge Homemakers clubs were guests of the Davidsonville Homemakers at their luncheon meeting on Md) 15 at All Hallows Church in Birdsville
Gertrude Chane, president, had each guest introduce herself and tell which dub she had been affilitated with and tlw year Following the luncheon, a brief business session was held. Mrs Chancy thanked Loretta RecV for her efforts m maKing the meeting such a success and announced that over 100 former members had been contacted Lois lerrence announced that the marbers were to go to Baltimore today for lunch at Hausners.
The June meeting will be held at the Fireside Restaurant on Greenbelt Road All those planning to go should meet at the Davidsonville United Methodist Church at 11:15 a m.   Mrs Chaney and Barbara Carr are planning tn attend the College Days for Women to be held at the University of Maryland on June 14, 15 with sessions on Communicating Basic Understanding.

Apparently there was once a Birdsville and  a Governor Bridge Homemaker Club and
also a Davidsonville Homemaker Club.  Do any of these clubs still exist?  Or,  are they casualties of the woman working outside the home?
