Josh Hirakawa at Seewanee

    Josh Hirakawa is on the roster of the Seewanee: The University  Of The South at Sewanee, Tenn.,  track team.  The senior from Davidsonville, who ran at South River High,  specializes in hurdles. 
    In 2012, as a sophomore,  Josh  led the Tiger men, recording personal bests in both the 110 meter hurdles

and long jump. He finished 13th in the 110 meter hurdles, turning in a time of 16.48 seconds, just .10 seconds off of 12th place Nehemia Webb of Alabama A&M. Hirakawa also recorded a personal best in the long jump, finishing 17th with a jump of 6.04 meters.
