From 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday (May 19), you can hear stories from the Mikey Medium English School in Nepal. Paul Miller, a South River Higfh Alum, Barbara Church and husband John, returned from teaching there and will be speaking at the Harbor Hills Yacht Club in Davidsonville. They will have video and photos.
The Mikey Medium English School has a close connection to the South River High School cluster and community. The school was founded by Mike Church (son of Barbara and John), a South River High graduate, during a 2005 cycling trip to Nepal with friends. Funds for the school are raised in this community as an educational program for our local Anne Arundel County schools.
