The annual Davidsonville Green Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 at the Ruritan Club Community Center, 3358 Davidsonville Road.
Each spring, in partnership with local businesses and environmental organizations, the Davidsonville Area Civic Association hosts the Green Expo to increase awareness about environmental issues and highlight environmentally friendly products, services and ideas. The expo allows the community to connect with local watershed groups, learn about energy-saving techniques and hear about living more sustainably.
This annual event features free children’s activities, tree giveaways, green product vendors and a “Green Up and Clean Up” student poster contest open to kindergarten through 12th-grade students. New this year is a display of electric cars.
