Janet Lucille Chinn, 83, a resident of Annapolis, MD for twenty-one years and previously of Landover Hills, MD died on Monday, October 16 at the Mandrin Hospice House in Harwood, MD due to complications associated with dementia.
Born on February 5, 1934, in Washington, DC, Janet was a 1952 graduate of Bladensburg High School and later attended the University of Maryland. She worked as a Montessori School teacher. Janet enjoyed crafts, gardening and raising her family.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 58 years, Richard Chinn; her sons, Michael Chinn of Columbia, MD and Kevin Chinn of Baltimore, MD and her grandson, Christopher Chinn of Shady Side, MD.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23 at 12 pm at Riva Trace Baptist Church, 475 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Inurnment will be private.
