The Anne Arundel County Volunteer Center holds its inaugural
Cheers for Volunteers fundraising event at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Renditions
Golf, 1380 Central Ave. in Davidsonville.
Attendees
will enjoy wine tastings from five different regions around the world, hors
d’oeuvres and games with prizes. A silent travel auction, which will include
trips for two (airfare included and no blackout dates) to Tuscany, France,
Costa Rica and Spain.

Proceeds
will help support the AACVC, whose mission it is to inspire, strengthen and
improve the community of Anne Arundel County by supporting non-profits,
coordinating volunteers, and building coalitions with local businesses,
according to a news release.
