Fay Myers Passes Away

Fay Neville Myers, 75, a resident of Riva, MD for fifty-seven years, died on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at her home. 

She was born on August 25, 1942, in Annapolis, MD to the late Howard and Ottie Bassford. Fay retired from the State of Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a longtime member of Riva Trace Baptist Church as well as the Annapolis Quilt Guild. In her spare time, Fay enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking, and reading. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Myers of Baltimore, MD and Kevin Myers of Riva MD, his wife, Dianne, and their son, Scott Myers. 

A memorial gathering will be held at 10 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Riva Trace Baptist Church, 475 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD 21035. A lunch reception will be held immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Riva Trace Baptist Church. Condolences may be made at:
