Lt. Col. Theodore Huntington Passes Away

      Lt. Col. Theodore Leo Huntington, U.S. Army (Ret.)  of Davidsonville, MD, died on Saturday, July 25, 2015 of Alzheimer's disease following a 13-year illness. 
      Born October 30, 1941 in Manitowoc, WI, he was an Army nurse during the Viet Nam War. Theodore was an incredible artist, painter, photographer, sculptor, ceramicist and writer.
      He was the beloved husband of the late Clarita Jabonillo Huntington, with whom he would have celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary this summer; devoted father of Joe Huntington of Jessup, MD, Jay Huntington of Crownsville, MD, Julie Huntington Vallario of Davidsonville, MD and Jeff Huntington of Annapolis, MD. Also survived by 11 grandchildren.
      Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, July 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 31 at 11 a.m at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
