Edgar Buchannan Passes Away

      Edgar Allan "Buck" Buchanan, 81 of Waynesboro, VA formerly of Davidsonville, MD passed away July 3, 2015 at Augusta Health from complications following a stroke.
      He was born March 18, 1934 in Washington, D.C. Buck was a veteran and served in the US Army from June 1955 - May 1957. He was with the 11th Airborne Division in Augsburg, Germany. He was a true patriot and loved his country. His interests included reading, especially WWII History, listening to Big Band music, watching the Washington Nationals, and most of all spending time with his family.
      Buck is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dora A. Buchanan, daughter Tracy Buchanan Smith and husband Todd of Staunton, VA, son Terry Allan Buchanan and wife Deanna and three grandchildren, Coulson, Cameron, and Summer Buchanan, all of Sugar Hill, GA. The Buchanan family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the care and empathy from the staff of PCU and Hospice of Shenandoah at Augusta Health.
      A private inurnment service, with Military Honors, at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 215, Fishersville, VA 22939.
