Robert DePaola Passes Away


      Robert William DePaola, “Bo”, 20, passed away on Saturday, May 23, at his home in Davidsonville, MD      Born on March 22, 1995 in Silver Spring, MD, Bo graduated from South River High School and attended Anne Arundel Community College. He worked as a field marketer with Long Fence and Home.     
      Bo left this earth knowing his mission was complete. The rest of his duties are to be fulfilled in heaven. Bo had a happy-go-lucky attitude, he never took anything too seriously, and an infectious smile that lit up the room. He was a loving sibling, a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, boyfriend, a loyal employee, student, and teammate.
     
      Bo loved video games, his Jeep, music, his friends, especially girls and most of all his family. Bo is survived by his parents, Jill and John DePaola; sister, Katie DePaola; brother, Johnny DePaola; grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Marlene Long, Beatrice and the late William “Reds” DePaola; aunts, Sharon Long, Bobbie Lee (Mike) Ritter and the late Lynne Cronin Luther; uncles, Bill (Sallie), Andy (Janet) and Eddie (Tammy) DePaola, he is also survived by many cousins, relatives and friends.
   
       Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bo’s life from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Friday, May 29, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater.
     
      A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am on Saturday, May 30 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave. in Davidsonville. Interment will be Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
