Wildlife Sanctuary Creates Wetlands

 

    Kirk Mantay and Erik Michelsen,  of the South River Federation,  walk the perimeter of a pond at the Davidsonville Wildlife Sanctuary that will be turned into a series of cascading wetlands.  The project's goal is to reduce bacteria, nutrient and sediment pollution flowing into Beard Creek, and ultimately the South River.
