Stephen Collinson Jones died 10/28/14 at the age of 87 from heart and kidney disease.
Born on 8/8/27 to Arthur and Elizabeth (Shepard) Jones in Davidsonville MD. He attended Annapolis HS, then Fork Union Military Academy and U of MD. Stephen was honorably discharged from the 2nd Army as a Staff Sargent on May 27th 1946. Mr. Jones was a longtime resident of Arnold MD before moving to Silver Springs FL in 2000. He was of the Elks club in Severna Park. He owned JMS Trucking located in Crofton/Curtis Bay MD where he helped develop and pave route 97 during it's construction.
He leaves behind his loving wife Carol Jones, brother Morgan Jones, sister Peggy Dresser, and grandson Stephen Collinson Jones III.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:30pm on 11/21/14 at the Crownsville MD Veterns Cemetary we he will rest with his son Stephen Jones.
