Donna Lee Sadler Passes Away


      Donna Lee Sadler of Davidsonville died peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2018, at home. She was 76 years old. 
     She was born on March 9, 1941, in Newark, Ohio. Donna was the oldest daughter of the late Homer Clark and Ann Elizabeth Lucas. She retired from the Anne Arundel County Board of Education in 2001. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles, gardening, and watching television shows and movies on British history. 
     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, David Lucas. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, A. James Sadler; daughter Rie Sadler and husband Jim Jones of Catonsville; son Will Sadler and wife Riki of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandson Jesse Barna of Davidsonville; brothers Francis and Terry Lucas; sisters Patty Stepherson and Linda Adams; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
     Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at John M. Taylor Funeral Home in Annapolis, Maryland. A celebration of Donna's life will be at 11 am on Friday, January 26, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
