Emily Proctor At Slippery Rock U.

Emily Proctor is a freshman at Slippery Rock U. and on their soccer team.  Here is what the school soccer team web site says about her.

Emily at a Glance: Emily was a four-year starter at South River. She had a career-year during her senior year as the team captain earned second team all-state honors in addition to second team all-metro honors by the Washington Post. She finished her career at South River as a three-time all-county selection. In the classroom, Emily was a two-year member of the National Honor Society, who was a mainstay on the South River Honor Roll as well as a four-time winner of the Minds In Motion Scholarly award.
 
Coach Griggs on Emily: "Emily's addition to the program will strengthen and deepen an already quality goalkeeper core with her professional training mentality and willingness to improve every day," Griggs said. "Emily's attitude towards training and competing will help to foster a competitive training environment and will play a major role in the goalkeeping unit. We expect her to adjust quickly to this level of play with her natural athleticism and high level of coachability."
 
Why Emily Chose Slippery Rock: "I loved the competitiveness of the team and the atmosphere between the girls on the team," she said.
