Allison Arslanian At Space Camp

    The Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy (HLCA) is a unique scholarship program for children of Honeywell employees.  Developed in partnership with the US Space and Rocket Center,  this program is designed to encourage students from around the world to pursue STEM related careers.  
    During the Feb. 20-Mar 4, 2016 camp,  students  from 36 countries and 30 U. S. states and territories participated in HLCA.  This included two MD students,  Allison Arslarnian from Davidsonville, and Sydney Monthe from Columbia, MD.

Allison Arslanian, South River High School (Junior)
Parents: Steven Arslanian
Davidsonville, MD
Age: 16
Plays soccer and the viola, Girl Scout, National Honor Society
She enjoys tutoring middle school students, volunteering through the Science Honor Society and National Science Honor Society
She is also an honor roll student




Sydney Monthe, Hammond High School (Junior)
Parents: Bertrand Monthe and Franca Efangon Monthe, Columbia, MD
Age: 16
