Kenneth Hardesty Passes Away


      Kenneth St. John Hardesty, "Kenny", of Davidsonville died March 25 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. 
      Kenny was born on March 11, 1927 in Davidsonville and spent time in the US Navy before he worked and retired as a Carpenter for the Union Local 132. He enjoyed baseball, crabbing, hunting, and spending time with his family. 
      Surviving are his wife Dorothy Mae Hardesty, who he married on May 4, 1963; sons Kenneth Ray Hardesty (Lisa) of Centreville, and William David Colburn (Stephanie) of Edgewater; daughter Margaret "Missy" Thomas of Centerville; and grandchildren Ashley Goodwin, Brittany Buckmaster, Nicholas Hardesty and Kayla Hardesty. 
      A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday March 31 from 3-5 pm, with a Memorial Service beginning at 4 pm at the Hardesty Funeral Home, P.A. 12 Ridgely Avenue Annapolis, MD 21401. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VFW of Maryland, www.vfwmaryland.org.
