Rotary Club Meets Thursday

      The Rotary Club of South Anne Arundel County will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Killarney House, 584 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville. March is literacy month and programs to help students gain proficiency in reading and comprehension are important among club projects. Examples include the annual distribution of dictionaries to third graders in south county, along with an essay contest, geared toward honing the writing skills of fifth grade students. Lunch packing will also take place, with same-day delivery to the Light House shelter. Prospective rotary members and lunch packing volunteers are welcome to attend.
