On August 30, 2015, Governor Marvin Mandel; beloved husband of the late Jeanne B. Mandel (nee Blackistone); devoted father of Ellen Maltz, Gary (Rita) Mandel, Paul (Sandra) Dorsey, Philip (Donna) Dorsey, Helen Dorsey, and John (Trisha) Dorsey; loving brother of the late Esther Potash; cherished grandfather of Gabriella Dorsey, Ava Dorsey, Britney Mandel, Morrisa Maltz, Brandon Fox-Mandel, and Darren Mandel; adored son of the late Rebecca and Harry Mandel.
The Governor will be lying in state at the State House in Annapolis on Wednesday, September 2, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Thursday, September 3, at 11 a.m. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens - Davidsonville, MD. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to ALS Association, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855. The family will be receiving at 254 Providence Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
