Bob Petrini Talks About Big DeMatha Game

From the Capital Gazette:
Bob Petrini  of Davidsonville reminisces about a once-in-a-lifetime basketball game that transformed DeMatha Catholic basketball from a regional power into a nationally-known brand.
Petrini, now 66, was listed as a starter in the program of the Stags' 46-43 victory over No. 1-ranked Power Memorial from New York City on Jan. 30, 1965. The Stags stymied Lew Alcindor — later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar — in front of more than 12,000 fans at sold-out Cole Field House.
