Aubrey Lee Collison Passes Away

    Aubrey Lee Collison ,61, died at his home in Davenport, Florida, January 26, 2015. Lee was born in Annapolis, Maryland on July 21 1953, son of Martha Lee and the late E. Aubrey Collison. 
    He grew up in Mayo, MD. He lived in Glen Burnie, MD; Severna Park, MD; Myrtle Beach SC ; Davidsonville, MD and Celebration FL. He attended Mayo Elememary School, Mayo Md.; Bates Middle School, Annapolis, Md.; and graduated from Southern Senior High School, Harwood, Md.; in 1971. He graduated from Anne Arundel Community College and attended the University of Maryland.
    As a young man he delivered the Evening Capital Newspaper and he worked at his uncle's store, Dawson's in Severna Park. After college, he was the manager of Jack in the Box. He was one of the managers for Phillips Restaurant in Edgewater Md. He owned and operated Instant Print, Severna Park, Md. He was a founding partner in Force Three in Crofton, Md. He owned and operated South River Yachts in Edgewater Md. Lee retired to Fla.in 2009. He had many interest and hobbies. He was an outstanding photographer taking photos for the Talent Machine and Weddings. His photos were published in Southern Living Magazine. He enjoyed working with and building computers, sound systems and even a TV. He spent countless hours on the Chesapeake Bay, fishing and boating. He loved to travel. One of his favorite places was Disney World visiting there often with his family. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for friends and family. He was a student of the Bible, spending time reading and studying many different versions.
    Lee is survived by his wife Lynn Collison of Orlando, Florida, three daughters, Melissa Collison Henricks of Severna Park, Md, Sara Collison, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Christina Collison of Ashville, North Carolina, and his two grandchildren Everly and Kingston Henricks of Severna Park, his mother, Martha Lee Collison of Mayo Md. and Davenport FL, two brothers Steven Ernest Collison of Davidsonville, MD and Nicholas T. Collison of Mayo MD, his sister Sylvia Collison Siegert of Mayo, MD, his aunt, Marlene Lee of Edgewater MD. Lee is survived by six cousins, Norman Lee III of Edgewater, Md, Scott H. Lee of Bowie, MD, David Dawson of Glen Burnie Md, Sheryle L.Collyer of Annapolis, Md, Mitzie Routt of Myrtle Beach, SC and Denise Lee Close of Santa Cruz,CA
    Arrangements are being made by Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City FL A memorial service will be held at the family home in Mayo,MD on May 17,2015. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation, JDRF (jdrf.org) will be appreciated
