County police discovered a 2006 Toyota Corolla wrecked at the intersection of Birdsville Road and Whispering Oaks Lane in Davidsonville early Tuesday morning. The car was registered to a 67-year-old woman living in Admiral Heights in Annapolis.
When city police officers went to the car owner's home, she told them she was unaware her car was missing. She said she parked it in her driveway at 6:45 p.m. Monday, but was not sure she had locked it.
She said she had left two spare keys to the car, including one in the center console.
