Work on culverts along Defense Highway will require the State
Highway Administration to close the roadway again this weekend.
Route 450 will shut down beginning at 11:45
p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
The work should address
some flooding in the area between Crownsville/South Haven road intersection and
The Ridges Gateway east of the South River.
Traffic will be rerouted to Route 50 and
Davidsonville Road during the closures to replace four culverts over
tributaries to Bacon Ridge Branch between the Crownsville Road/South Haven Road
intersection and The Ridges Gateway.
