Lillie Mae Byrd (98) died peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert L. Byrd and two sons, John and Edward Byrd. She is survived by three son, Louise Bryd (Joyce), Melvin and Robert Leroy Byrd (Linda); three daughters, Gladys Ann Barnes (Frank), Frances Howarton (Harry) and Irene Fletcher; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, May 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pope Funeral Home, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD and Thursday, May 24, from 9 a.m. until time of service 10:30 a.m. at Union Memorial United Methodist Church, 3328 Davidsonville Rd., Davidsonville, MD.
