Barbara (Barb) Catherine Jedrey, formerly of District Heights and Annapolis passed away on April 21st in Mooresville NC at the age of 90 surrounded by love and family.
She was born on December 6, 1927 in Lynn Massachusetts, the second youngest of eight children from Irish parents Jeremiah and Margaret (Lowry) Murphy.
Friends are invited to celebrate Barbara's life on Sunday, May 13 from 4 to 6 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, May 14 at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Serenity House, c/o Carolina Comfort Coalition, 110 Centre Church Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117 or online at www.carolinacomfortcoalition.org.
