Spencer Gets Patriot League Honorable Mention

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Patriot League announced its weekly awards for its fourth week, ending Feb. 26, in men’s lacrosse. Army West Point’s David Symmes and Dan Grabher were named the Corvias Offensive Player of the Week and Corvias Faceoff Specialist of the Week, respectively. Boston University’s Greg Wozniak was named the Corvias Defensive Player of the Week, while Christian Carson-Banister was named the Corvias Goalkeeper of the Week. Colgate freshman Nicky Petkevich rounded out this week’s honors and was named the Corvias Rookie of the Week.

Spencer tied a career-high of five goals in the Greyhounds; 18-5 win over Lafayette on Saturday. He scored all five of his goals in less than 17 minutes of action between the first and the second quarters, sitting out most of the second half except during an extra-man opportunity. He also added a trio of assists.
