Karen Lee Wells, 61, of Churchton, MD went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2016 after a lengthy illness, which was complicated by diabetes.
She loved her career in real estate. Helping others, crabbing, and fishing were among her favorite hobbies. She also found enjoyment while serving with the Hospitality Ministry at her church, Chesapeake Christian Fellowship. Her heart was filled with joy from animals, especially her cats throughout the years.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Wells, of 43 years; her mother, Virginia Brady; and siblings, Colleen Schuette, Jimmy and John Brady.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035 from 9:30 am until the start of her funeral service at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
