Annapolis author Al DeCecaris will be at a book release party this Wednesday, (5-10 PM) at the Kilarney House restaurant in Davidsonville. This will also serve as a fund-raiser for research into Sturge-Weber syndrome, a neurological disorder.
The party will celebrate the release of his new book "Running the Coast for a Cure" which documents his run of over 1,000 miles through 14 states to increase the awareness of the disease which his niece, Jenna Heck of Davidsonville, suffers from.
Al is also the author of "Crossing America for a Cure" which documents a 3,000 bike trip from California to Ocean City in 2013.
