From the DACA Newsletter:
A small but loyal group of members attended the DACA annual meeting on June 6. On such a busy evening, DACA could not compete with the Washington Capitals playing and winning the Stanley Cup Championship; and several high school graduations; and candidate meetings elsewhere in the county. The loyal few soldiered on and conducted the necessary business of electing officers and board members, and hearing about current issues that concern the local residents.
The current officers were re-elected:
Christopher Asher, President
H. Edward Woods, Vice President
Gail Enright, Secretary
Brian Stanton, Treasurer
Will Biddle was ecstatic to be relieved from Treasurer duties by Brian Stanton in March. Thanks to both of them for keeping the books.
Phil Livingstone, Ron Oakes, Melissa Stanton, and
Bruce Stein agreed to continue for the term to end in June 2021 and were duly reelected Sean Healy and Brian Stanton were elected to fill vacancies in the term to June 2019 with incumbent Martin
Zehner. Many thanks also to Jeff Bishop who joined Will Biddle, Kate Fox, and Wayne Reid in the term to June 2020.
