Olyve Spicknall Passes Away


     Olyve Zelco Spicknall on March 28, 2015 of natural causes of Davidsonville, MD, formerly of Annapolis, MD
     A graduate of Annapolis Senior High School Mrs. Spicknall was a medical technician/Phlebotomist for Pathways in Annapolis for many years retiring ten years ago. She was a charter member of Parkwood United Methodist Church in Edgewater Maryland, and a member of The Women of the Moose Chapter 661 in Annapolis. A lover of all things outdoors especially the beach and mountains, she also loved Turner Classic Movies, Gardening, Cooking and Bingo. 
     She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jeffrey Scott (Barbara) Spicknall of Davidsonville, Robert Marshall Spicknall of Pasadena, MD, Melody (Andrew) Spicknall of Lothian, MD, Mary Lynn (Joe) Glumsic of Shady Side, MD, and April Utterback of Davidsonville, MD. She was the grandmother of Candice, Rachael, Marissa, Annie, Andrea, Devon, Madeline, Randi, Taylor and Olyvia and the great grandmother of 5. She was the sister of Tony Zelco of Mitchellville and Doris Case also of Mitchellville. 
     Mrs. Spicknall was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Spicknall who died in 2010, whom she married on April 6, 1949.
     Relatives and friends may call at the Hardesty Funeral Home, P.A. 905 Galesville Road Galesville, MD 20765 on Thursday from 11 AM till service time at 1:00 PM. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery, Lothian, MD Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake 90 Richie Highway Pasadena, MD 21122
