From the Capital Gazette Online:
Anne Arundel County firefighters responded to two apparently unrelated vehicle fires Monday morning on Route 50 near Davidsonville.
Firefighters responded to westbound Route 50 about a mile before Route 424 around 7:20 a.m., where they found the first vehicle on fire. As they were preparing to leave the scene after bringing the blaze under control, firefighters discovered a second vehicle fire farther up the road around 7:45 a.m., fire department spokesman Lt. Russ Davies said.
Firefighters were able to bring the second blaze under control. No one was injured, Davies said.
The accident scene caused traffic delays during the morning commute on westbound Route 50.
