Loyola and Pat Spencer Preseason Lacrosse Awards

Loyola was a unanimous choice to repeat as Patriot League champions, earning all 16 available first place votes. Voters are not allowed to rank their own schools so Loyola head coach Charley Toomey and sports information director Ryan Eigenbrode both awarded their first place selections to Lehigh  which finished in second place.
Navy came in third with 96 total points, seven better than fourth place Boston University.
Loyola attackman Patrick Spencer was voted Preseason Offensive Player of the Year which  was no surprise as he is the three-time reigning Offensive Player of the Year. The Davidsonville resident received the Jack Turnbull Award as the best attackman in Division I lacrosse last season.
