Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt, Frances Duckett Grimes, 80 passed away peacefully at hospice from lung cancer on July 10, 2018.
Survived by her daughters and their families, Anita and Jeff Harris, Allison and Johan Trumpy, grandchildren Sophia, Roxanne, Abigail, Scott and great grandchildren Lucas, Oscar, Max, Raina, and Van, brother Jimmy Duckett and sister Alice Lee Lyons and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Wendy Grimes and son Terry Grimes.
Born in Annapolis and raised in Davidsonville, she lived her entire life in the Annapolis area. Frances spent her working career in the maritime industry and the State and Federal Government where she acquired many life long friends. After retiring at 67, she volunteered at the Arnold Senior Center. Frances was an avid baseball fan, bird watcher and gardener.
