Carter Has Outstanding Game

Penn State (#6 lost to the U. of MD (#1) 16-14 on Thur night in a nationally televised match.  Both were undefeated in Big Ten play with the game determining the league champion in regular season.  Even in the loss, Madison Carter carried her team at different points on Thursday night. She was excellent in draw controls and scored six goals.  She  was always active and involved in  front of the net and was usually closely guarded by the defense.  She was chosen as Player Of The Game because of her  contributions even in the team's loss.
Madison's six goals give her 58 on the season to extend her team lead, all but guaranteeing she will finish the season with 60 goals or more.
