Arson At Eagles Passages Home

From the Capital-Gazette:
Fire investigators have determined a blaze at a vacant home early Tuesday morning in Davidsonville to be the result of arson, a fire department spokesman said.
The blaze was reported by a neighbor in the 2500 block of Howard Grove Road around 4 a.m. Firefighters responded to find the home fully involved with flames and suffering from structural collapse, fire officials said.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in about an hour, Capt. Russ Davies, a fire department spokesman said.
One firefighter was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Parole for chest pain, fire officials said. As of Tuesday afternoon, the firefighter, a 37-year-old member of the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department, remained at the hospital in critical condition, Davies said.  He is expected to recover, Davies said.
Fire officials are asking anyone with photos, videos or information about the fire to call department's tip line at 410-222-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous.

The is estimated to have caused some $1,500 in damages, Davies said.
