Mrs. Leonora Myles Gross, 88, of Sands Road, Harwood, MD passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at home with her family.
She is survived by her sons: Virgil P. Gross (Rose), Steven Gross (Carrie), Gary Gross, and daughter, Iris D. Harley (Robert); siblings: Bishop Francis S. Myles (Janice), David Myles (Gloria), Delydia Jones, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Gross is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Gross, her son Samuel Gross, Jr. (Rachel), brothers Stewart Myles (Betty), John (Daisy), brother-in-law Calvin E. Jones (Delydia), and sisters Helen Pinkney (John) and Daisy Harris.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, House of Prayer Church of God, No.1, 8513 Central Avenue, Capital Heights, MD 20743. Visitation began at 8 AM until the time of service at 10 AM. The service was live-streamed on the website: www.hopcg.org or via Facebook Page: House of Prayer Church of God No.1.
