DAVIDSONVILLE, MD — An altercation occurred in Davidsonville near
Patuxent Manor Road and Manor View Road March 25 shortly after midnight. The
911 caller wasn't involved in the fight, but indicated that it had already
ended and both parties were leaving. Anne Arundel County police officers found
the victim approximately 20 minutes after the incident was reported and he
declined medical treatment.
The victim told officers
that he was walking home from a friend's house when he was tackled from behind
and struck several times in the face while on the ground. The victim also had
his backpack stolen.
